Ministry Values
The Word of God:
We believe that people are transformed when
they understand and apply Biblical truths
(II Tim 3:16-17, Heb 4:12, Rom 10:17, Ps
1:1-3).
Intercession: We believe that intercession is essential and consider it our responsibility and ministry. We acknowledge that apart from Christ, we can do ABSOLUTLY nothing of eternal value; therefore, everything we do must be established through fervent prayer (John 15:5-16, I Thess 5:17).
Culturally Relevant Ministry: We believe our ministries must be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally pure (II Corinthians 5:14-21, I Corinthians 9:19-23).
Team Ministry: We believe that the best ministry happens in team. In this, we believe that God has empowered each person and placed them on the earth for “such a time and place as this”. (Esther 4:14) Therefore, we see it as the believers responsibility to be God’s ambassadors to the world that the Lord so loves (John 3:16)
Ministry of the Holy Spirit: We believe that effective ministry flows from the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. Our desire as believers is to operate in spiritual gifts to encourage and manifest the reality of God to our communities (I Cor 12, Rom 12:3-8, Eph 4:11-12). To this end, we believe that every Christian should discover and use his/her spiritual gifts in service to one another and the world in which they live.
